There are about more than 30 dive sites as well as adventure dive safaris surrounding Boracay Island and the neighboring islands ideal for beginners and experienced divers.

You will definitely enjoy diving in Boracay considering that you have a lot of choices once you decide to go scuba diving and enjoy Boracay’s majestic underwater world. You can find different forms of life underwater in abundance.

The beauty about diving in Boracay is that, most of the dive sites can be reached within 10 to 15 minutes.

Angol Point

Depth: 7m|23ft to 15m|45ft

Conditions: calm, almost no current

Angol Point is also referred to as the house reef. It is an ideal dive site for checking out and training dives.

A large part of the reef is covered by sea grass. Nudibranchs, clownfish, damselfish, sea urchins, and see cucumbers can be found all around the area.

It is also a favorite site for night dives and a favorite spot for snorkeling due to good visibility.

 
Balinghai

Depth: 8m|25ft to 24m|80ft

Conditions: usually calm, current can be strong at times

Balinghai is known for its large and beautiful table corals, in which the shallow portion of this area has a good variety of leather corals.

Tropical fishes such as scorpionfish, angelfish, lizardfish, damselfish, triggerfish, banner fish, rock cods, anthias, puffers, and gobies are all over. Colorful lionfishes are also common in this area. Blue-spotted rays under the rocks can also be sighted.



 
Camia Wreck Dive

Depth: 27m

This is our only wreck dive site which this ship was donated to the Boracay Diving Association had manage to perfectly sink her on January 2001.

Fish carrier vessels, now serving as an artificial reef.

This ship is 37 meters long.

Maximum depth 27 meters and now a lot of corals are growing on her side and a lot of fish swimming around her.



 
Channel

Depth: 5m|15ft to 36m|110ft

Conditions: strong current, can be tricky

Channel is also referred to as the Channel Steps. It is a magnificent dive site for beginners and experienced divers depending on the currents.

Diverse rock and coral formations are all throughout the drift with a wide range of flora and fauna. Hard and soft corals are all over. Schools of sweetlips, snappers, batfish, and stingrays are often seen. Occasionally, white-tip sharks are sighted.



 
Coral Garden

Depth: 6m|20ft to 12m|40ft

Conditions: calm surface, normally little to no current

Coral Garden is also referred to as the house reef. Coral Garden is well known to the divers. It is shallow but with excellent visibility, making it an ideal dive site for just having fun, checking out and training dives, as well as snorkeling.

Hard corals are such in abundance all around the area. Damselfish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and various species of clownfish are quite common.



 
Crocodile Island

Depth: 5m|15ft to 22m|70ft

Conditions: can be rough, strong current

The shape of this island from a far looks like the head of a crocodile, thus the name Crocodile island. The terrain of the area is easy to navigate giving all levels of divers the opportunity to dive this site.

Bountiful gorgonian fan corals, soft, leather, and whip corals are just amazing. Tropical fishes such as anthias, chromis, fusiliers, damselfish, pipefish, hawkfish, banner fish, and morrish idols among others abound the area.



 
Friday's Rock

Depth: 18m|60ft

Conditions: calm with some current

Friday’s Rock is a well-known fish feeding station among the dive sites in Boracay. It is also an excellent site for beginners and training dives.

Fish life is quite so abundant. Angelfish, surgeonfish, damselfish, triggerfish, parrotfish, lionfish, scorpionfish, sergeant majors, snappers, and sweetlips are all over. Blue-spotted rays, ribbon eels and garden eels could be sighted. Schools of squid could also present.



 
Laguna de Boracay

Depth: 5m|20ft to 20m|70ft

Conditions: drift with the current, usually very light

Laguna de Boracay is well-suited for beginners and professional divers.

The rock formations are just great. Hard and soft corals, variety of clams in different sizes, and various species of anemones abound the area.

Lionfish, stonefish, scorpionfish, butterfly fish, sea squirts, feather stars are also common.



 
Laurel Island

Depth: 8m|25ft to 27m|90ft

Conditions: current can be very strong

Laurel island has actually two separate dive sites. These two dive sites will open the fantastic world underwater.

The area is only being dived during rising tide. The current is strong that you have to take extra care when diving but it is generally a gentle drift along the reef.

A variety of soft corals covering most of the area is simply amazing, a haven for Macro Photography.



 
Punta Bunga

Depth: 9m|30ft to 25m|90ft

Conditions: dived in calm conditions, with little current

Punta Bunga is connected to a series of walls of Yapak. It is suitable for beginners and experienced divers. Most divers dive this site during falling tide.

Hard and soft corals abound the area. Fishes such as moray eels, groupers, lionfish, triggerfish, emperor angelfish, and butterfly fish are all over the place. You might even experience seeing the stingrays hiding under the rocks.



 
Tulobhan Reef

Depth: 9m|30ft to 20m|70ft

Conditions: surface conditions can be rough

Tulobhan Reef can be an easy and relaxing drift dive depending on the current. It can also be rough depending on what time of the year.

A vast variety of hard and soft corals as well as feather stars are all over the reef. Tropical fishes such as moral eels and cuttle fish inhabit the whole reef. Garden eels are present between the scattered rocks on the deeper sandy area.



 
Virgin Drop

Depth: 14m|40ft to 36m|100ft

Conditions: current can pick up during tidal changes

Virgin Drop is a wall ideal for deep diving as well as deep dive training. Occasionally, tidal changes may occur making it ideal for drift diving.

Hard and soft corals are present on your descent to the wall wherein the reef drops down from 14m to 36m. Moral eels living in the cracks and crevices of the wall are often seen. Gorgonian sea fans and crinoids are also in existence.



 
Yapak

Depth: 30m|100ft to 70m|220ft

Conditions: varying conditions

Yapak is the most popular and sought after dive site in Boracay island. There are actually four Yapak dive sites in the area. They are all deep walls but it’s not at all possible to dive more than one section of the wall at a time.

Surface conditions can be rough that would require a negative entry, followed by a spectacular blue water descent.
